Cass County Outreach Center Staff

Cass County Outreach

The Cass County Outreach Center provides client intake, client assessment, client referrals, and coordinates with other community resources. The outreach center has a certified Family Development Specialist, assisted by senior aides and occasionally community volunteers. Staff work closely with local organizations to insure non-duplication of services and to maximize resources for resolving local poverty issues.

The goal is to strive to assist low-income families of Cass County in becoming self-sufficient. A wide variety of programs, services, and referrals offered reflect this accomplishment.
Programs offered through the Cass County Outreach Center are: a clothing room, LIHEAP, Weatherization, and rent and utility assistance. In addition, Energy Wise kits are distributed.

The Cass County Outreach Center also houses staff who serve the Child Care Resource and Referral program and Family Development Self-Sufficiency programs.

Clients may access the clothing room once a week.

This office accepts applications for the South Iowa Regional Housing Authority (SIRHA).

Anyone is welcome to drop by, inquire about services, and speak with staff. Also, please inquire about any of West Central's other programs such as Head Start, WIC, Senior Aide Employment, and Child Care referrals.
